Billie Eilish Despite the fact that their romance did not work out, Jesse Rutherford is far from the “bad guy” in Billie Eilish’s eyes.
During a Q&A session on her Instagram stories on Saturday, the singer spoke up about her relationship with The Neighbourhood frontman following their divorce. In response to a fan’s question about Rutherford, Eilish raved over her friendship with the 31-year-old in a now-expired Instagram Story.
“Very very good friends only,” Eilish added, according to a screenshot obtained by Pop Crave. “My homie forever.”
Eilish and Rutherford initially sparked dating rumors in October 2022 when they were photographed together in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The duo was beaming from ear to ear as they strolled through the streets, with one photo appearing to reveal Eilish.and Rutherford mid-kiss.

In November 2022, Eilish and Rutherford made their red-carpet debut as a pair at the 11th Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The couple posed for photos in gray sleepwear-inspired attire and was later seen snuggling under a Gucci throw.
Later that month, during her annual sit-down with Vanity Fair, the 21-year-old pop diva acknowledged her connection with Rutherford. When asked if she has a boyfriend, a beaming Eilish gushed about her new love.
“It’s really cool, and I’m super excited and happy about it,” she remarked.
During the Vanity Fair interview, Eilish also discussed her and Rutherford’s relationship, commending herself for her perseverance.
“Can we please have a round of applause for me?” Eilish stated. “I did it all by myself (expletive).” “I restrained (him).”
